Latin based Alphabet
Both the Uzbek and Turkish languages use a Latin based alphabet that are quiet similar to one another. However, there are some different letters and sounds in both languages. Also, in Uzbekistan, many newspapers and magazines are still published in Cyrillic. Therefore, you need to be familiar with the Cyrillic alphabet too.
